Our story

We each have been part of the reenactment communities for decades, enjoying the vast array of artistic, academic and martial pursuits the reenactor life has to offer. But when we teamed up a few years back, our passion for the historical arts increased manyfold!

Bolt and Bellows was born from our combined love for historical garment-making, textile research and curation, and for sustainable, slow modern fashion.
